This is a Square 8", perfect bound, 66 page book of colour negative, slide and black & white analog film photography. These photos were made in and around my house at the corner around Windsor Street, K'jipuktuk/Halifax, Nova Scotia. The album and this book were made hand-in-hand to chronicle the anthropocene and to also document recording mediums. This covers the time leading directly up to the Covid-19 quarantine and covers the first few months.
Any profit from the book will be evenly donated between the Black Economic Empowerment Fund Halifax, helping those negatively affected by Covid-19, and the Black Lives Matter Solidarity fund.
If you want to buy a copy locally, choose "Local" and we can arrange a pickup/ local drop-off by me directly once it is printed and shipped and the difference in cost will be given to these funds. Any local copies will also be accompanied with a homemade hard copy CD of the album, if requested, at no extra charge. The more that I order in one go, the lower the overall cost, and the more I can donate, so tell your friends.
Some delays are to be expected related to Covid-19, but I plan to ship by the first week of July at the very latest.
Colour inkjet prints and B&W handmade wet darkroom prints can also be ordered directly from me.
